TALLI'S FUND

FUND SET UP IN MEMORY OF POPULAR PUPIL

A fund has been set up in memory of Natalia (Talli) Jones, the 17-year old Seaford College sixth former who died tragically following a road accident in November.

Talli and her family have a long association with the College – her sister Alanna is a former pupil now reading English at Sussex University while her father, Ieuan Jones, was also a former pupil (1969-1975) and returned to the college in 1983 as an English teacher and Housemaster.

Talli’s fund will be used to support Afrikids, which supports the rights of outcast children in Ghana, a charity close to Talli’s heart.

It is also hoped that the fund can be used to finance an annual award to a sixth form pupil, which will be set up in Talli’s name.

Talli’s schoolfriends are planning a major fund-raising event at the College to help swell the fund and family friend Professor Rex Davis, who is chairing the fund’s steering committee, is open to any other suggestions for uses of the fund.

Professor Davis can be contacted via the College.

If anyone wishes to make a donation to Talli’s Fund, it is held at Lloyds TSB, the account is in the name of Talli’s Fund, Account number 02445343, Sort Code 30-91-97.
