''We are very sorry to announce that Matt Mattingley died suddenly on Friday 9 December 2011. The memorial service will be held at Rogate Church on Tuesday 24th january at 3pm to which all will be most welcome. Tea will be served in the Village Hall afterwards. Rogate Church is in the centre of the village on a busy crossroad. Parking at the Village Hall in North Street (GU 31 5BH) is recommended.
David Heden 1919-2011
Memorial service for David Heden Change of time and venue The memorial service will now be held in the College Chapel at 11.30am on Sunday 12th February 2012, followed by the internment at Graffham Church. Refreshments will be available at the College after the service. Any Old Seafordians or friends wishing to attend will be very welcome. We are sad to announce the death of Larry on July 18th this year. Larry died peacefully in his sleep at the age of 84 at his home close to Zurich , Switzerland. Our condolences go to all his family.

We are very sad to announce the death of John Nettell. John died with his family around him on August 5th 2010. "There will be a Memorial Service for John at the church of St. John the Baptist in Boldre (postcode SO41 5PG) at 3.30 p.m. on Wednesday 18th August and afterwards at the Breockenhurst Manor Golf Club. John has specifically asked for no black suits and no flowers. Donations to the Oakhaven Trust can be made on the day."

John sadly passed away on July 2nd 2010. His funeral takes place on July 15th at 12.30 at the Chiltern crematorium Amersham.

Val Guest
Obituary Sadly We are sorry to hear of the death of one of our oldest members, Val Guest. He was at Seaford in the late 1920/30's and died recently at his home in Palm Springs, Calafornia at the age of 97. He was well known both here and in America as a prolific screen writer and director with many film and television shows to his credit. His death was widley reported in the British and American newspapers and we are indebted to Tim Costar (Adair 1955/8) for reminding us of him. Val's son David came to Seaford in 1948 and was in Charmandean.
